Sarah Doody is the Founder and President of Engaging Journeys, Inc. Her company was formed for the purpose of providing management and operational services for educationally focused travel programs to organizations and institutions that place a value on life-long learning and educationally focused travel programs. Engaging Journeys is committed to the philosophy that traveling with individuals who share your passions and interests and who believe that learning is a life-long journey is the only way to travel. The mission of Engaging Journeys is to provide management support and expertise for the operation of educational travel programs for organizations that do not have the in-house capabilities. Our goal is to provide an avenue for your constituents to pursue the tradition of lifelong learning through educationally focused journeys to worldwide destinations. Our company can assist your institution in not only starting a program but also expanding an existing one.
Prior to forming her own company, Sarah was the Director of Alumnae Engagement and Enrichment with the Bryn Mawr Alumnae Association for over 13 years, running many if the major initiatives for the Association and the College, including the Bryn Mawr Alumnae Travel Program. The travel program grew significantly under her leadership and became not only an extremely productive alumnae engagement and outreach tool but also a program that generated revenue.
The background Sarah brings to your organization is one of alumni engagement and cultivation. Sarah understands the importance and value of engagement and outreach and how it fits into the paradigm that is the world of constituent engagement, outreach and development.
Sarah was retained by Bryn Mawr to continue to manage and operate their travel program though Engaging Journeys. Engaging Journeys also manages and supports programs for Case Western Reserve University, Jacksonville University, Swarthmore College, the Patricia and University at Buffalo, Main Line School Night, Gettysburg College, University of Denver and University of La Verne.
